March 15, 2018 is the 25th anniversary of the tragic downtown fire that took the lives of City firefighter, John Lombardo and West Pittston Hose Co. firefighter, Leonard Insalaco. So as to commemorate their sacrifice, a memorial mass will be celebrated on the anniversary at 7pm at St. John the Evangelist Church on William Street at Church Street. The public is invited and encouraged to attend this special mass.
