City of Pittston Sewer Improvement Project
The City of Pittston is experiencing a major sewer improvement project in several areas of the City. Phase 1 is centered in the Broad Street area and it will weave its way through the City all the way to the area behind Cooper's Restaurant. The project is creating some real inconveniences for people who live and work in those vicinities, but most people are demonstrating great patience because they understand the need to overhaul the City's antiquated sewer system. Work will continue in those areas, and Phase 2 should begin shortly in the Mill Street and Towpath Court areas.
