Curbside Yard Waste collection will resume on Monday March 25th. Residents may now include grass clippings with yard waste. Yard waste must be curbside in open containers. No rocks or dirt can be collected. Branches must be cut to no longer than 4ft and bundled. Thank You! Pittston's Department of Streets & Sanitation provides weekly residential garbage, recycling and yard waste collection. Operations are funded through a semi-annual garbage fee collected by the City Treasurer's Office. Certain bulk waste items can also be collected for an additional fee. Please contact the Tax Collector/Treasurer's Office for more information.
