The City of Pittston Housing Authority’s mission is to serve the needs of low-income individuals and families and to increase the availability of decent, safe and affordable housing in its communities, ensure equal opportunity in housing, promote self-sufficiency and asset development for families and individuals, and improve community quality of life and economic viability.

The Pittston City Housing Authority was established pursuant to Pittston City Code Section 18-5  There are 5 members appointed by the City Council for 5 year terms of office.
