Part-Time Laborer—Streets & Sanitation
The City of Pittston is now accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Laborer for the Departments of Streets & Sanitation. Hours are variable but typically begin at 5:30am or 7:00am Monday-Friday at a wage of $17.63 per hour. Part-time staff are typically scheduled for 28 hours per week, but occasional additional hours are required as conditions require.
PART-TIME POLICE OFFICER
The City of Pittston is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Police Officer. Applicants must have Act 120 certification and a valid PA driver’s license. Verification of credentials and a background check are a part of the hiring process. Applications may be obtained at Pittston City Hall, 35 Broad Street, Pittston, PA 18640, Monday-Friday 9am to 4pm. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Be 18 years of age
- Be a U.S. citizen in good standing
- Be able to read, write and speak the English language
- Be a high school graduate or possess a GED
- Possess current Pennsylvania Act 120 Certidication
- Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Driver’s License
- Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties of a police officer
